Dan was born in Denver, CO, and raised in Littleton, CO. Upon graduating college from Arapahoe Community College, Dan founded manufacturing company Fast Track Fabrication and sister company Integrated Erection Company, which fabricated and installed building components for the commercial construction industry.
After transitioning into the insurance industry in 2002, Dan started another businesses in 2006, a “scratch” Colorado Farm Bureau agency, Ecker Insurance Agency, Inc. There, he won multiple awards for sales and service, and as Agency Manager, mentored and trained new agents, including two who went on to earn Rookie of the Year honors from the Farm Bureau.
In November, 2016, Dan joined Plummer Insurance, as the branch manager in their Fort Collins location, where he focuses primarily on farm/ranch, commercial and personal insurance solutions.
Dan and his wife, Tina, live in Loveland with their children, Keegan and Eryn.
