A native to Gering, Nebraska, Melissa began her insurance career with Valley Insurance Services (formerly “The Gering Agency”) in 1998. Later on, Melissa moved to Alberquerque, New Mexico, where she was an agent for Charter Insurance.
In 2006, Melissa and her family moved back to Gering, where she continued her career with Valley Insurance Services, which was acquired by Plummer Insurance in 2015. She continues to be part of the Plummer Insurance team as a Personal Lines Specialist.
Melissa, her husband Ernie, and their son Zach, reside in Gering.
